Brutal no notice lay-offs and firings. Culture is very bad. Dictator as VP of OPS and Sr Exec of site.
They say its based upon numbers but really designed into the manpower plan by VP of OPs and HR director.

All the people Raytheon Falls Church laid off in last November were either women or minority. 5 out 7 Indian employees were in the list.

After working at Holt Cat for 29 years I took the layoff in march of 09. They paid me through July of 09. I you behave yourself, work hard and make the company a HAND it will pay off in the long run.

I'm glad there are some that saw the layoffs coming. I fell for the "Vertafore Family" mantra. I also believed them when they were quoted as "not expecting layoffs" in June of 2010. Of course they promptly started at least two waves of layoffs.

I didn't get so much as a "I'm sorry", just a "here's your box"

Within the next 4-8 weeks Mid September ALL AD SET personnel will be eliminated/replaced! Oh... except for 1-2 to do toppers!
Why bother? Why not have the E3's/Dept Mgrs do this? OH that's right, it would be too much work for them to do at night!

Every time they build a building they lay people off to help pay for the new diggs which they did this past year. Incredible high tech, beautiful buildings. But there goes the job security and if you're not laid off, your pay raise. Your career goes no where if you don't have an MBA but the tuition reimbursement is nominal.... more...
