Adobe and Intel are currently working on together to make the dream of bringing Interactive TV to the 15 billion consumers across the globe. And I am truly very proud to be a part of it. That's really exciting; simply it can't be express in words. Avoiding the technical details I can only explain the consequence of forgetting about the long-hours wait, would you believe billions of hours of data content will be at a distance of just a few clicks. And the picture quality will be an additional bonus. It's nothing like a figment of my imagination; it's really on the cards.

There is a lot of lip-service about assessing employees, but not much truth to it. From my experience, project managements have been really bad and wrong people are honored most of the time. Most people who work here are unfriendly. There is no way to make a difference and there are many around you doing little and getting rewarded for making errors. The company is divided up between several offices, so communication is usually done with web conference which hinders in face to face meeting. Nothing gets done unless it is an emergency. They don't seem to know how to integrate companies they acquire.

Latest on the layoff front -- info circirlig inside Aobe is that we are going to have a 1 week forced shut down this qyuarter in order to aviod layoffs -- and if the economy does not improve will continue this practice all year -- ie 1 week shut down each quarter -- it will put a lot of financial pressure on all of us -- but may be a better opttion than to layoff 10% of our employees.
