foreman lays off fat women in department

I noticed that the foman in our department laid off women according to their weight.I'm quite A bit overwieght at 275 pounds and I got laid off.I never missed A day of work and I put out good quality speciality windows.All the slim women got to keep their jobs.The forman seemed to always flirt with the slim,young women.Our forman is A sexist pig.If I was slim,had A low cut shirt on,and was in my 20's with A below average work performance score ,I would probably be working right now.Jeld wen management are sexist pigs.

They don't really like employees whao are more intelligent then they are, espescially if your a woman,

Yes they are sexist pigs. They also like to keep employees who act like doormats and do not stand up for themselves when they are being degraded and verbally abusive.

long layoff is making me fat

I think I've gained about 100 pounds since I got laid off.I watch way too much TV.I have Fox on dish network and I watch all the news programs all day like Glen Beck and the O' Reilly Factor.I need to get back to work before I get so fat that the EMS have to cut A hole wall to get me out.I don't want to end up like that that 1200 pound Mexican dude.I've been so depressed that I've been eating A ton of food.Some of my bills are overdue because I'm spending most of my unemployment on food .I sometimes felt like i was married to the place.I love working at JW like Spongebob loved working at the Crusty Crab.

I got laid off seven years ago. Now what I did is I started walking every day to lose weight and I went back to school full time. Look up Varian,Inc or Varian Inc because I posted layoff stuff there.

Hopefully it does not happen.It's not fair that the taxpayer has to foot the bill for you being so irresponsible.

lunch with the foreman

I noticed the people that talk friendly to the foreman didn't get laid off.I know of some people that even have lunch with the foreman,they did not get laid off.If you suck up to the foreman your job is secure.I heard their is too much favoritism in the specialty department.The layoff was rigged,the foreman knew well in advance who they wanted to get canned. Quite A few people that work their now are worse workers than the ones laid off.Some of the ones that work there sucked upped to the foreman.I don't suck up to the foreman.I just do my job,that is the way it should be.

You better start suckin or your going to be next. Also try not to be fat, non-white and have more brains in your little finger than the manager has in his entire body. It also might help if you shave your head bald and tattoo it with a giant swastika.

Yep, the supervisors love the suck ups. The more you use foul language and the lazier you are, the better they like you.

lack of work

Well Its finally happened! I'm sure everyone remembers those 254 employees that Jeld-wen of Hawkins laid off way back in Feb. We received our letters of termination. It was only a matter of time. The union is trying to fight it because there are people still working there that took our places that shouldn't be there. There was this one girl who started approx. 4 months before the layoffs began.......and wouldn't you know it.....She's still there. Why you might ask? you should see her and you would know. Thin, (must weigh about 110 soaking wet) Pretty, likes to party with "The Boys". Yeah, well some of us who have worked there anywhere from 10-30 years are now terminated! I guess the union wants to see all evaluation records for the last 4 years. They want to compare them and see if we were all evaluated on the same bases, (Fairly that is). Well as anyone who works at a Jeld-wen company knows, They keep who they want to keep evaluations mean nothing! We'll see. For one thing I know personally that the evaluations were not done the last 4 years like they were suppose to be anyhow. We can all see where this is going to lead. Jeld-wen is gong to drag their feet in producing the evaluations. It's going to take well over a year, in the hopes that by that time everyone will forget about what they have done to us and we will be left for dead just like anything else Jeld-wen screws up on. Well I guess for them its like Burger King every day, you know..... THEY CAN HAVE IT THEIR WAY! and that's how it is gonna end up in the end. LITTLE MAN LOSES AGAIN!

big gaps in the sdl bars

One time I got shipped out to truck dock.I noticed A window with a huge gap in the sdl bar.You could see it 30 feet away.So one of the truck dock workers told me to take it back to the forman responsible for that window.He looked at it and said it was no big deal,just send it, the customer won't notice.That forman was a college graduate in his late 20's!How can it be realiable in real life when there is a great big defect.The forman let almost every window slide by with big gaps because he wanted to make his big bonus.Maybe this fall Jeld Wen will make the news on Cnn when they lay off their so called temporary laid off employees for good.

Managers at the interior door plant do the same thing. It's all about numbers to them, to hell with quality!

The forman is worried about the big bonus so he can buy his new gas guzzling truck,his new Lund boat,and maybe, buy a few hookers in Las Vegas.
