What a great businessman - he will show Scott McNealy how to run a business. I think Larry will be able to monetize Java and makes so much money at it that Scott and his cronies at Sun will cry. Also, there is a good chance that by selling the storage and other businesses to IBM - Larry will probably be able to get back most of what he paid for Sun -- and get all the get Sun software for free! To the best businessman of the Valley! Go Larry!

I think Larry is one of the best in terms of business vision. Whenever, Oracle has acquired companies, the company has done much better than before, contrary to what people thought. Sure, there were job losses, but the company delivered better integrated software suite to its customers.
Remains to be seen what Oracle will do Sun. I am sure Larry's got some ace up his sleeve.
