Big,big company that is having trouble coming up with innovative products in the mobile phone division due to pure lack of talent and leadership. Windows Mobile Development group to lay-off 77 people leaving current employees with uncertainty of job security. They are going to make 4000 job cuts world-wide. They seem to be cutting positions rather than the work which is unimportant.

The company hasn't confirmed the total number of employees that were laid off but it is certain that many employees have been made redundant lately. We are still expecting more layoffs to come as the economy doesn't seem to be turning back to normal.
We just read in local newspaper that our management is planning for further 4000 layoffs in second quarter. During November and December, we got to see 1000+ employees leaving out of door. I think that the recession has taken down overall industry - and we have more people than others so !
