This is a bit of a long store but I had requested a 200.00 gift card for my incircle points and in the mean time I had found a pair of earring. The clerk offered to hold the earrings till the card went into the system. One week later I had not heard from him so I called the local store. The clerk was off so I asked another clerk to help me. He acted like he was too busy, blah blah.. so I asked if he could call me back when he was free. He called later and gave me the card numbers and I told him about the earrings. I told him I would like them rung up today so I could take advantage of the spend 200 get a 50 gift card for later use. He said he could not find the earrings and still acted like in a not very nice fashion. I asked him to have the manager call me. The manager Andrew called back and I explained the situation. He said I had to be in the store to take advantage of the offer. Now I call up the store on a regular basis and have them ring something up for me, and many of the associates of this particular store know me by name, as I am in there ALL the TIME! The manager wouldn't budge. I am so offended by this on principal alone. I spend a lot of money in this store on a regular basis and feel that I am not asking much. I live 35 miles one way from the store and having to go there for just this seems crazy to me, especially on a Saturday during the holidays. As there are so many options now when purchasing high end merchandise I feel that I won't go back there, I would rather go where I can be treated like the loyal customer I am.

The best reason to work at Neiman is to gain knowledge about the world of retail. Another great reason is that Neiman empowers its associates to do whatever is necessary to help the customer. We get some of the greatest opportunities in the retail world. Starting in an entry level position may allow you to be promoted within about six months to eight months. If you are a hard worker, and want to move up in the company they will do whatever it takes to get you to where you want to be. I do feel that Neiman Marcus is a great place to work and would recommend it to others. It really is a fun place to work.

I have been a long term customer at NM..My experience at the cosmetic counters especially the Beauty by Clinica Ivo Pitanguy, I have been treated very well by the sales people..I would reccomend anyone to this line of outstanding products and service..I felt special.
