There is no hiding the fact that this is an industry in very difficult circumstances. The financial health of the Company is precarious and that has led to lots of headcount reductions and cuts in compensation and benefits. The management - union relationship is by definition antagonistic, so there is a lot of petty bickering about who can do what work, overtime, profit sharing, etc. Upper management (especially CEO Piggott) is feared rather than respected. This chips away at morale, especially in high profile positions that answer to upper level suits. I don't find any reason to work here but I am just putting as t is hard to find a place to switch.
