Portnov attracts an intelligent, motivated workforce, but doesn't seem to place much value on its workers. Instructors are not evaluated enough, so a few bad apples are allowed to continue teaching that can lead to some problems at times.

1. We are paying to teachers and staff at least 50% more than other school including City Colleges. 2. Bad apples: we just got one to go. His name is Kangeyan Passoubady (Kangs). I tolerated for a while his lack of teaching skills hoping it will improve (we give people chances), but we finally found much better instructor. 3. What bad apple Kangs is doing now? He comes to that web site and posts lies about the school. What a miserable life.

Thank you, Portnov, for my first American job

Portnov school is a great place for starting new career in the US.

I arrived to the US a year ago as a winner of DV lottery without any chance to be hired within my former profession. I chose Portnov school based on their promise to help with internship and job placement and they did keep their words.

After 2 months of training, Sofia organized my interviews for internship. After the first internship, Sofia assigned my interview for the second internship. And after half a year contract in the second company, I was hired as a full-time employee with benefits.

Mikhail and Sofia do the great job! Many thanks and appreciation for it!
