I was terminated from this company for something I did not do. They don't care about truth and fairness. They just care about that God almight dollar and they have billions. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. They do not walk the talk. I fact, they are all talk and nothing else. They took away my livelihood for nothing and I can't hold them liable for anything. Don't get suckered in by them. Susan

I was also laid-off from IT last August and given no reason; However, I was able to collect unemployment. I have brought a class action lawsuit against Quest along with several others and expect it will be heading to litigation within the next month. Quest is going to pay dearly for their actions. And I'm not the kind of person to sit back and let a "pain in the butt company" let me go without given me a good-solid reason. Their lose will be my gain. Bet on it!

merit increase is about 2.5%

As I hear from my manager, the avg Corporate merit increase is 2.5% this year. I think this is good especially since a lot of companies will not be getting anything extra (pay freeze).

No hiring - No firing

The best reason I am working for Quest Diagnostics is that it doesn't hire and fire to the extent that other companies do. There is opportunity to move around and discover new areas; for instance between technology to marketing, marketing to sales, etc. Competitive salaries and good benefits package are also good reasons.
