Tough times in economy

In this tough economy, one needs protection and security. Far from this, you get nothing but a layoff or a threat of a layoff. It's getting tougher to work in US industry as there are larger staff cuts and reduction in pay. They say it's due to declining economy and diminishing demand of products and services.
